What is Swagbucks?

I kept hearing about Swagbucks, But I had no idea what it was. It sounded a bit too good to be true when friends told me about it, so I was skeptical. After a some research, I decided to give it a try.

How does it work?
Signing up is easy and FREE! The easiest way to earn swagbucks is to download the swagbucks search toolbar and use it for your searches, it pulls data from Google and Ask.com so results are just as accurate.  That's right, you get swagbucks just for searching!! You can also earn swagbucks by filling out surveys & polls.

Another great way you can earn money is by referring your friends to the program. In fact, you can get up to 100 swag bucks for each person you refer, if the person actually uses the program. Swag Codes This program also has a Swag Codes program, where you can earn swagbucks just by finding special codes and pasting them into field on your members page. They aren't that difficult to find especially if you look for them on the website's official blog.

Prizes?
There are so many prizes you can trade your swagbucks for. There are toys, jewelry, but my choice would be gift cards!! I search online all day long why not get rewarded for it?

My thoughts...
Swagbucks is a legitimate site. You need to use all revenue streams to make the most of it. It's just a matter of  using their search engine to search, promoting their service by referring friends and reading up on their news.

Who doesn't like getting rewarded for something they are going to be doing anyway? Have you tried Swagbucks yet?

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope that you all had a fabulous Mother's Day! Mine was just wonderful, and I'm dying to tell you all about it. But first...

There were quite a few funny cards and memes floating around the internet. Here were my favorites that I posted on facebook.

Okay, back to my Mother's Day...

Like I was saying, it was absolutely fabulous! I started out the day with presents. I felt so loved

My favorite presents were the handmade ones. I just love gifts from tiny ones with big hearts.

Pearl bracelet from my Mr. So sweet, I have been looking for a single strand bracelet. I had no clue he was going to get me one!

My little Princess picked this one. It's a pink sapphire heart with a mother and child in a loving embrace. I just love it!

After I opened my wonderful presents, we went to Oaks Amusement Park in Portland. It has become a Mother's Day tradition for us. It is such a fun place. It's been open since the early 1900's, and is a blast from the past.

We had so much fun!!

What did you do for Mother's Day? I'd love to hear about it in a comment!

I hope you all had as wonderful of a day as I did whether you went out or stayed home and relaxed!

Take care and God bless!!

30 before 30 update: VEGAS BABY!

I'm a bit late writing this one... but do you all remember a while back when I wrote my 30 before 30 list? Well, I have finally checked a couple things off. One of them is VEGAS. I went to Vegas for Spring Break for the first time and it was such a blast!

The excitement began on Tuesday when I arrived. I checked in to my hotel. Went back to my room, settled in and checked my bank account. To my horror they had added an extra zero, charging me 10 times what I was supposed to have been charged!!!

It was a long drawn out process, that you may have read about on facebook, but finally things were sorted out and I got a room upgrade.... Check out that jacuzzi tub. Not too shabby, huh?

The first evening I was there, my beautiful friend got married!  I am soo insanely happy for her!!

They had a very private ceremony with close family and a couple friends at a very nice little chapel. I feel so honored to have been a part of it. Then, of course, the next couple nights were spent celebrating!

We hung out on the strip and checked out a few different casinos. I played a little on the machines, and played black jack for the first time! It was pretty fun, and I tripled my money ($40... high roller! LOL!).

My friends went home on Thursday, and my cousin & her other half drove up from So Cal to go to Viva Las Vegas: Rockabilly Weekender with me!

It was such a blast!!! A weekend of dressing up, going to concerts, bowling, a car show, shopping, meeting models and drinking!

Ready to go out for the first day of Viva!

Hair took forever, but I love it!

Met the beautiful Doris Mayday.

Cherry Dollface and her fiance.

Masuimi Max and Angelique Noire. Maisumi was hysterical!!

With the gorgeous Micheline Pitt and Erika Reno

Bowling Fun...

Music & Dancing!

My overall first impression of Vegas was great. It is a fun time for sure, but it gets expensive fast! I am not much for gambling, so I was concerned that it wouldn't be all that I hoped for, but there is so much to do aside from gambling! I feel like I didn't get to do a lot because we were at Viva for most of the time, so I can't wait to go back!

Have you been to Vegas? What was your favorite thing to do? I'd love to hear about it in a comment!

(Not So) Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop #4

Welcome to the (Not So) Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop #4!

Make your own Pizza Night!

When I was at the grocery store last week, I noticed that they had personalized pizza crusts. I decided that we definitely needed a make your own pizza night! We had so much fun, if you haven't tried this at home, I highly recommend it. It gets you off the hook for cooking for the night, and the family will have a blast!

Step 1:
Gather your ingredients: Personal pizza crust, cheese, tomato sauce, and basically whatever you want, it's your pizza.... If you intend to make a Hawaiian Pizza, you will need your hula skirt (this is not optional).

Step 2:
Apply tomato sauce to your pizza. This part is tricky, so be sure to be very precise.

Step 3:
Sprinkle with LOTS of Cheese!

Step 4:
We're getting serious now, apply toppings that are desired. Make sure you put exactly what you want and as much of it as you want.

Step 5:
Top with MORE cheese. This step is vital to the perfect personal pizza experience.

Step 7:
Bake as directed. This step is clearly not important enough for a photo...

Step 8:
The most important step of all. ENJOY!!

Now that you know how to make your own pizza, let's move on to the hop!!

Martinis and Fun in the Sun

I had a fabulous weekend. :)

Friday night, I met up with some of my favorite ladies for a much needed girls night. We had drinks at an adorable little martini bar called Twigs. There are a few locations in Washington, but they are new to Oregon. The service is a bit slow, as they are still working out a few kinks, but the drinks are very yummy! Our night was super fun, but unfortunately for the girl sitting next to us, it didn't go as well. Poor girl had her mojito poured in her lap by the waiter. I felt almost as bad for him as I did for her because he was clearly mortified. She was a trooper and didn't let it ruin her date.

We have been having some gorgeous weather (this is so not typical for Oregon in May), and Saturday we were invited for swimming and dinner with some of our good friends who have an outdoor pool. Luckily, my new swimsuit got here just in time! The kids had a blast in the pool, while the adults enjoyed the sun and some blended drinks.

Is the weather this lovely wherever you live? If so, did you get to have some fun in the sun?

My Mom, My Friend

I always love heading over to Mel's & Michelle's, to join the fun with their Ketchup with Us Prompts!!

KETCHUP WITH US' - PROMPT #17
In 57 words or less, tell us about a special mother in your life.

My Mom, The Princess, and me

We are opposite in so many ways,
and through my teen years we clashed to say the least.
Different as we are, we got past it all
And somehow managed to become the best of friends.
I call you almost daily and ask for your advice.
I tell you my problems, and listen to yours.
I know that you'll be there day or night
Because not only are you my mom, but the greatest friend I know.

Love you Mom!
